Our winners

The pupils of the college won more than 500 laureate titles at national and international contests. 

Among them are:

Yuri Blinov (piano), the first prize winner at the Prokofiev International contest in St. Petersburg in1992. (Prof. Shelomentseva’s class)

Mikhail Samsonov (cello), the first prize winner at the International contest “Concertino-Prague” in 1992. (Honoured Art Worker of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Perlin’s class)

Larisa Rydlevskaya (dulcimer), the first prize winner at the International contest of folk music “The Cup of the North” in Chernovtsy in 1992. (Prof. Gladkov’s class)

Andrei Kovalinski (trumpet), the first prize winner at the International contest of brass instruments in Moscow in 1992. (Prof. Volkov’s class)

Ivan Stepantsov (piano), the first prize winner at the Chiurlionis International contest in Vilnius in 1995. the winner at the European contest in Leipzig in 1996. (Honoured Culture Worker Guzhalovskaya's class)

Sergei Smirnov (piano), the first prize winner and Grand-Prix at the International contest in Japan in 1977. (Prof. Nekhaienko’s class)

Aleksei Kiseliv (cello), the third prize winner at the Chaikovski International youth contest in ST. Petersburg in 1997. (Vladimir Perlin’s class)

Oleg Yatsyna (violin), the third prize winner at the Menukhin International contest in France in 1998. (Associate Professor Umnova’s class)

Aleksandr Muzykantov (piano), the first prize winner at the International contest “Minsk-2000” in Belarus. (Prof. Kacharskaya’s class)

Veronika Praded (dulcimer), the first prize winner at the “E.Koka” International contest of folk music in Moldova in 2000. (Prof. Gladkov’s class)

Ivan Stepantsov (piano), the winner at the European contest in Leipzig in 1996.
